Another of my recordings
Posted originally at Dimeadozen, somehow this made it to here with all the information EXCEPT the taper and transferer info. That always seems to happen. This was as an opening act for James Blood Ulmer. For that reason it wasn't particularly crowded, that is one reason for so little crowd noise, that and the mix the soundman was giving me. There is also a video of this performance that will get put onto DVD someday, maybe soon.

Awesome sound quality shows Minutemen in their full glory
This is a fantastic recording. It's that weird beast of the tape trading world - a soundboard recording that's almost too perfect, with virtually all crowd noise eliminated.
Still, that's a tiny complaint against a show this good. As a guitar player, I can't stop digging the crystal-clear interplay between D's guitar and Mike Watt's bass, and as a fan of the Minutemen, every song you could wish for shows up in an exhaustive 37-song set. Download now!!
